Latest Nominees For the 2018 Ballon d'OR Released.

The award which is also known as the Golden Ball has released the nominees for this years award. The Ballon d'OR is an annual football award presented by France Football.

The award has been introduced since 1956. Between 2010 and 2015, an agreement was made with FIFA and the award was temporarily merged with the FIFA WORLD PLAYER OF THE YEAR and has been referred to as FIFA BALLON D'OR.

However, the partnership ended in 2016 and the award has been reversed back to BALLON D'OR and FIFA also reverted to its own separate annual award known as THE BEST FIFA FOOTBALL AWARD.
