Amartey Featured In Leicester City Defeat To Arsenal
Ghana defender Daniel Amartey played 90 minutes in Leicester City's 3:1 defeat to Arsenal in the English premier league.
The talented defender bossed the defence with some courageous performances but could not deny Arsenal the victory at the Emirates stadium as they lost on Monday evening's action to the London club.
Leicester took the lead through a Ben Chilwell's cross that was deflected in by Hector Bellerin in the 31st minute of the match to give the away team the lead.
Their joy was cut short as Hector Bellerin who scored the own goal in the 31st minute assisted Captain Mesut Ozil to fire in low ball out of reach of Kasper Schmeichel the Dane.
When all hope seems to be lost, Unai Emery the Arsenal manager introduced Matteo Guendouzi and Aubameyang in the 61st minute who changed the complexion of the game within a twinkle of a minute.
Aubameyang bang in the second Arsenal goal in the 63rd minute assisted by Hector Bellerin.
Aubameyang the Gabon international added the 3rd goal of the game for Arsenal which was his second of the match after coming on just 5 minutes.
Leicester city were left with no options but to threw in Okazaki and Albrighton up front but they could not rescue a point for them as Arsenal emerged victorious with 3 points to move into the top 4 below Chelsea with 21 points as Chelsea but a difference of goal.
Leicester City will face West Ham United at home next weekend on 27th October.
