Asamoah, who moved from Serie A giants Juventus in this summer's transfer window has settled very well in Spalletti Luciano's side. He was deposited on the left back position he used to play at Juventus.
However, today's game did not go as planned as Inter lost the game by a large margin of goals.
Atalanta seemed to find their feet very quickly in the match as they took the lead as early as in the 9th minute thanks to a Hateboer Hans goal.
The second half did not travel far as Inter Milan front man Mauro Icardi levelled for the away side through a penalty in the 47th minute.
Everything seemed to be working well for Inter then Mancini Gianluca poped up and restored the home sides lead in the 62nd minute of the match.
In the 88th minute, Djimsiti added the 3rd goal to send the game to bed.
Just as we thought we will not see anymore goal in the match, Atalanta playmaker, Gomez Alejandro added the 4th goal in the injury minutes of the match.
Now for the results, Inter Milan have dropped to the 3rd place on the league table with 25points whilst Atalanta have moved further to 8th position with 18points in 12 league matches.
