Albert Adomah Grabs an Assist in Aston Villa Win over Birmingham City


Ghana international Albert Adomah grabs an assist in Aston Villa's 4:2 win over Birmingham City in the English Championship on Sunday afternoon.

Adomah made his debut for Ghana back in 2011 in a one zero defeat to Brazil.

Adomah who moved from Middlesbrough in 2016 to Aston Villa has scored 17goals in 90 appearances for Villa so far.

His performance for Villa this afternoon was not different as he assisted Jack Grealish to put Villa ahead after gong down early in the 28th minute of the match against Birmingham City.

Aston Villa have picked form and won two games in a row after a disappointing start into the season which saw their former manager Steve Bruce fired and replaced by Dean Smith.

The former Brentford manager was released to Aston Villa after they have agreed to pay a compensation in the region of £300,000.

Aston Villa went down first in the match when Jutkiewicz Lukas gave the away the lead in 28 minutes.

Kodjia Jonathan pulled the leveller for Aston Villa in the 37th minute before Adomah assisted Grealish in the 39th minute to put Villa in front for the first time in the match.

The first half ended in Villa's favor as they lead by 2:1.

The second department of the match did not travel far as Tammy Abraham scored the third on the day for Villa in the 51st minute.  Abraham is an English striker on loan from Chelsea.

The visitors persisted and surprised the home team as they scored their second goal in the 57th minute.

However, the game was laid to rest as the 33 year old Hutton Alan puts the fourth goal in the net for Aston Villa to keep the visitors shut of their dreams to defeat them.

The result mean Aston Villa moved to 8th position on the Championship league table with 27 points after 18 matches into the season and will welcome Nottingham Forest on 28th November.
