MY FIRST DAY AT THE UNIVERSITY

EPISODE 1

My first day at the university was not different from my first day at church. I can see that look on your face when I mention church.

It came as a surprise to me when I was called to come for my admission letter. When I came for the letter, I was given only two days to prepare. When I say prepare you know what I mean. I mean to come and pay my fees if not I will lose my place to someone on the standby list.

I gave the letter to my guardian when I got home that day. He asked me if I am interested in taking up the course. I replied heavily with yes!!!

All the preparations began. I went to the hospital for a test and an x ray. All these were necessary requirements before you are admitted. The doctor has written his report which I sent to the school on the day of registration.

I went through the registration process and was given a date to resume. When the date was approaching, we were informed to stay at home for sometime to enable the school finish one of our new blocks. Are you surprise when I used our block? Never mind.

Finally, that faithful day when I have to start school and a new life has come. The opportunity I have been waiting for was here.
